Hey! I’m Miriam

I’m in my final year of University, studying Computer Science at Georgia State University 🐾 ! I have completed mainly independent and team case studies as a UX Designer/Researcher. Feel free to check them out on my work page!

As a passionate UX designer, I'm driven to create beautiful and intuitive digital experiences. I've developed a strong foundation in UX research, wireframing, prototyping, and UI design. My equity-based, empathy-driven approach ensures that my designs are accessible and inclusive for all users.

Growing up, I found joy in drawing and painting. This early passion for visual expression ignited my desire to use technology to improve the world. I'm excited to apply my skills and creativity to solve real-world problems and create innovative digital solutions.

IBM Accelerate Design Badge: Successfully completed the IBM Accelerate Design program, and earning a badge, demonstrating proficiency in design principles and tools.

Founded Tech4Creatives: Established Tech4Creatives, a student organization dedicated to empowering students interested creative fields in technology.

UX Design Intern, Digital Learners to Leaders: Gained practical experience in UX design as a student intern at my University's internship course: Digital Learners to Leaders.

Girls Who Code Leadership Academy Webpage: Designed a user-friendly and visually appealing webpage and co-led for a University event for the Girls Who Code Leadership Academy project.

Girls Who Code UX/UI Bootcamp Project: Successfully completed a UX/UI design project as part of the Girls Who Code Bootcamp, showcasing skills in user research, wireframing, and prototyping.

UX/UI Bootcamp Co-Instructor: Became a co-instructor for a UX/UI Bootcamp, sharing knowledge and mentoring aspiring designers.

Cloud Clip Hackathon: Served as a UX designer for the Cloud Clip hackathon team, as a IT Training Intern at Prinicpal Financial Group contributing to the design and development of a cloud-based solution.

Google UX Design Certificate: Currently pursuing the Google UX Design Certificate to further enhance design skills and knowledge.
